Is a Gambling a Sin?

It seems as if every time we turn on the television or walk into a store that offers gambling we are asked the same question. “Is a gambling sin?” The issue is complicated and many do not know the answer. Many of us are guilty of watching football and wondering what it feels like to win, while others feel like they are gambling when they bet on sports. It truly depends on how you 먹튀폴리스 look at it.

What sin is gambling? Is it the same as betting or playing the races? Are both considered gambling? These are just a few examples of what people believe gambling is. Now, it is time to look at where we all stand on this issue.

When it comes down to it, God does not look favorably upon any form of gambling. In fact, He even warned us about it in the Bible, saying, “Do not do away with them, neither add to their number” (Psalm 15:2). However, some forms of gambling have been accepted for centuries. Poker, slots, bingo, blackjack, and even horse racing have all been introduced into the world from the ancient times until today.

Is a gambling a sin? Yes! If you feel as though you are acting out of greed, bad motives, or having some other sort of evil motives in regards to why you are playing, then it is certainly a form of gambling! This can be seen in online casinos as well as your local strip joints.

Some have taken to gambling in order to make a little money to pay off some debts. You are breaking the law by gambling, and therefore, you are making yourself a very dangerous person. Hang in there, and do not give in to your addiction, instead, become stronger!

Hang in there! God is love, and He wants you to be happy. I am not trying to stop you from being addicted to gambling, but I want you to be strong and understand that a gambling addiction IS a sin!

God loves you and is willing to forgive you if you ask Him. Ask and don’t forget. Ask now, because it may not get better till you decide to take action!
